Position: Podcast Production Technician (Part-Time)

Job Description: The Sapience LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Podcast Production Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves setting up and managing all technical equipment for our podcast recordings, ensuring high-quality audio and video capture, and organizing and sending all files to our remote video editor. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling podcast production equipment and be available to work 2 to 3 times per month, primarily on Saturdays.

• Equipment Setup and Management:
• Set up and test all podcast production equipment, including microphones, cameras, lighting, and recording devices.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
• Adjust settings to achieve the best possible audio and video quality.
• Podcast Recording:
• Manage the recording process, including starting and stopping recordings and monitoring audio levels.
• Ensure that the podcast recording environment is optimized for sound quality and minimal background noise.
• File Organization and Transfer:
• Organize all audio and video files after each recording session.
• Send all files in an organized manner to our remote video editor promptly.
• Coordination:
• Communicate effectively with podcast hosts and guests to ensure a smooth recording process.
• Coordinate with the remote video editor to ensure all files are correctly labeled and transferred.

• Experience: Previous experience in podcast production or similar audio/video production roles.
• Skills: Proficiency with podcast recording equipment and software.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage files and ensure timely delivery to the video editor.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Availability: Must be available to work 2 to 3 times per month, generally on Saturdays, for 5 to 10 hours per session.
