SAPinsider is Hiring an Information Technology Manager Near Chelmsford, MA

Wellesley Information Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our team in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of technical expertise and experience managing both desktop support and network infrastructure. In addition, they will be proficient in managing various line-of-business applications including Office365, HubSpot, and Salesforce.com. This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Provide desktop support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Administer Office365, including user management, email services, and security settings. o Manage and optimize the use of HubSpot and Salesforce.com, ensuring they meet the business needs.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices, recommending improvements where applicable.
  • Provide training and support to employees on the use of various IT systems and applications.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance of IT services.
  • Report to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and provide regular updates on IT operations and projects.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop support, including Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Extensive experience with network management, including configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Proficient in managing Office365, HubSpot, and Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
