As an HR Business Partner at Sapp Bros., you will play a critical role in shaping our organization's success. We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual who will partner with our business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and support. You will have the opportunity to foster a culture that not only values our core principles but also champions growth, compliance, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and values.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on a wide range of HR issues. Including but not limited to, Employee Relations, FMLA, Training, Development, and Unemployment.
- Champion our values of humility, hunger, and passion for development, teaching, training, and compliance.
- Drive initiatives related to talent acquisition, development, and retention.
- Collaborate, develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and compliance awareness.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR regulations.
- Handle employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to support company-wide initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proven 3-5 years experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at all organizational levels.
- Passion for nurturing a culture of development and learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
