Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team. The Project Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction project costs and preparing accurate estimates. Duties: - Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to understand project requirements - Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating purposes - Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure cost control - Prepare detailed proposals and bids for construction projects Skills: - Proficiency in Construction estimating techniques - Strong negotiation skills for obtaining competitive pricing - Experience with HeavyBid software for estimating purposes - Knowledge of Construction management principles - Ability to price projects accurately based on specifications and requirements - Familiarity with Bluebeam software for document management - Project management skills to oversee the estimation process from start to finish - Understanding of contract terms and conditions related to construction projects This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting construction projects and contribute to the success of our team.
