Job SummaryWorking as a Caregiver in our Community Based Care facility you will maintain the highest quality of care by ensuring our residents needs are met while providing supportive companionship. Wallowa Valley will provide the free training and resources to start your new career and retain top quality skills. We support our staff through trauma informed care principles and offer an environment that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents in their daily living activities
- Follow resident plan of care and chart all appropriate documentation
- A Caregiver will participate in life enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile
- Provides emotional supports and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Fosters a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
- Present for staff meetings and trainings
- Other duties as assigned
