Sapphire Nursing is Hiring a Retention and Employee Relations Specialist Near , NY

About Us:

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and personable Retention and Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with our healthcare professionals, ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a genuine passion for supporting and empowering others.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups with healthcare professionals to assess job satisfaction, address concerns, and provide support as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for employee recognition, rewards, and career development.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and team-building activities to promote a positive work culture.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities to meet with staff, address concerns, and strengthen relationships with client organizations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in HR, employee relations, or healthcare staffing is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally to meet with healthcare professionals and client facilities as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,201.56 - $58,049.20 per year
