We’re seeking a passionate and well-rounded Corporate Responsibility Manager to join our team and drive meaningful change. The SUSA Corporate Responsibility Manager will be responsible for a dynamic scope of work, engaging with an array of business partners across all Pillars of the Saputo Promise to create shared value for our business and stakeholders. In this position, you will flex a wide variety of skillsets, including strategic planning, creative problem solving, data analysis, project management and customer interaction. We are looking for an insightful, technically savvy relationship-builder who is comfortable in both a manufacturing and corporate environment to serve as a corporate responsibility advisor, change agent and subject matter expert for SUSA.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter…The SUSA Corporate Responsibility Team facilitates our division’s CR strategy management process. Specifically, we:
Provide Strategic Direction for the SUSA Global Promise:
  • Ensure alignment with the global Promise strategy, tailoring it to fit SUSA’s unique context.
  • Facilitate cross-functional planning and decision-making to develop our CR strategic direction, goals, and game plan for success.
Evaluation and Governance:
  • Manage regular reporting processes, driving continuous improvement.
  • Support the SUSA president in global CR discussions.
Strategic Communication:
  • Leverage the Promise to engage employees, customers, and industry organizations.
  • Be a change agent for sustainability within SUSA.
Special Projects:
  • Develop business cases for new CR opportunities.
  • Assist in setting sustainability targets.
  • Provide insights and recommendations.
Internal Consultation:
  • Serve as an expert advisor on Corporate Responsibility matters.
  • Enable cross-functional execution of the CR strategy by ensuring resources and processes are in place.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Partner with key stakeholders to execute high-priority strategic CR programs.
  • Cultivate actionable insights by analyzing performance trends.
Strategic Formulation:
  • Lead initiatives to answer priority questions, solve problems, and drive critical business actions related to corporate responsibility.
Employee Engagement:
  • Mobilize employees by raising awareness and facilitating training events.
External Engagement:
  • Support customer inquiries and engage with key stakeholders.
You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preference for environmental, health & safety, or quality systems focus). Higher education in Business Sustainability Management a plus.
  • Direct professional experience in corporate responsibility roles, including:
    • advising and influencing internal and external audiences
    • managing corporate responsibility programs and initiatives – experience in manufacturing or agriculture environmental sustainability preferred
    • analyzing KPIs to develop actionable insights
    • formulating strategic goals based on sound research and analysis
    • engaging with and leveraging relevant industry associations, programs and advisory firms (e.g. EPA Energy Star, DOE Better Plants, Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, FARM program, ISO Standards, IDFA, Sustainable Packaging Coalition, How2Recycle, SEDEX, REBA, etc.)
  • An open and progressive mindset with the ability to think about sustainability in the broader context of the business.

Salary Range: $85370 - $112050
