It's very important that you're comfortable supporting large enterprises seeing as they handle over 2000 virtual machines.

This is a brand new role within the business that's been designed to address much of their ongoing needs. Therefore, you'd be making an immediate impact and would have the satisfaction of expediting their already fast-paced and quickly growing environment. You'll have ample opportunities to continue making positive strides not only for the business, but for yourself since you'll be taking the lead on various different projects. They're always on the lookout for their next acquisition which means there 'd always be new projects and technical challenges that you'd work on / take charge of.

Technically speaking, you'll need to have seasoned experience with VMware (of course), vSphere and vSAN along with Cohesity and Veeam products/platforms. It'll be hard to find success in this role unless you have excellent skills with Powershell or Python since you'll have lots of automation related tasks. Aside from that, you should have complete confidence in your understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems. On the business side of things, you'll need to have lots of experience and a high level of comfortability working cross-functionally between different teams and effectively communicating with stakeholders on a daily basis.

The base salary ranges from $140k - $160k and you could potentially earn $200k annually with the bonus.
