Job DescriptionDepartmentAdministration_NPA Job SummaryThe Outpatient Clinic Coordinator (OCC) is responsible for performing all front office duties with the capability of managing all day-to-day front office operations in the absence of the supervisor and/or manager. The OCC works collaboratively with leadership to ensure the clinic operates smoothly, promoting efficiency and effectiveness, and serves as a liaison between physician, patient, facility staff and insurance companies to manage referrals, verify information, creation of therapy estimates, explaining financial liability, collecting payments, negotiating payment arrangements, registering and scheduling patients for rehabilitation services. Required Qualifications
Require an Associate degree, or relevant experience in a healthcare setting can be considered in lieu of the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
Require two (2) years of healthcare or customer service industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
Prefer demonstrated knowledge of healthcare terminology.
Prefer computer proficiency with commonly used computer applications.
Prefer knowledge of third party payers.
