POSITION SUMMARY:
In this Grounds Maintenance Oriented, physically demanding, yet rewarding position you will utilize the following to carry out your specific job duties:
- Operate zero-turn-around and walk-behind mowers
- Operate trimming equipment
- Operate weeding equipment
- Operate standard blowers
Requirements:
- Previous commercial mowing experience on a large scale (preferred, not required)
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Flexible; available to work occasional overtime and Saturdays
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and with a team
- Able to walk, stand, crouch, and perform repetitive motion and physical tasks for long periods of time
- Adequate communication skills; able to follow directions, relay directives and report progress to crew leader/supervisor
Working Environment:
- Outdoors
- Varying weather conditions
- Subject to loud equipment noise
