Job Description
- Create footwear designs appropriate for the target consumer and developed within the project timelines according to project briefs.
- Ability to seamlessly cross into both performance and lifestyle categories.
- Research marketing and fashion trends. Collaborate with product leadership on seasonal direction.
- Partner with design leadership, product development, and marketing to collaborate on design projects and maximize effectiveness.
- Partner with materials team to assess and evaluate seasonal material needs.
- Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience required.
- 7 years of footwear design experience required.
- Proven leadership skills with at least 2 years’ experience in leading or influencing others.
- In-depth knowledge of design process.
- Solid presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- In-depth computer skills and experience with 3D, Adobe Illustrator, PowerPoint, and PhotoShop software.
