Job Responsibilities
- Supervising technical and non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations to ensure compliance with organization and regulatory requirements.
- Managing personnel, processes, and regulatory compliance in assigned areas, which may include specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
- Overseeing department goals for service, quality, compliance, financial performance, and personnel management.
- Demonstrating leadership skills to motivate and supervise staff effectively.
- Reviewing and approving payroll time sheets, purchasing requisitions, and scheduling requests.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology.
- 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
- State of Florida Supervisor License in all 5 specialty areas or eligibility to obtain.
