What You'll Do:
- Support the COO: Collaborate closely with our COO to manage financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Take charge of timely and accurate construction payables and manage home sales accounts receivable.
- Daily Accounting Tasks: Oversee general ledger entries, manage weekly invoices, reconcile bank accounts monthly, and more.
- Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports as needed to keep our business on track.
- Office Administration: Keep things running smoothly when not engaged in accounting tasks.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience & Expertise: Proven bookkeeping experience in the residential construction industry and a solid understanding of AP/AR practices.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in data entry and management of financial records.
- Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience with MS Excel, Intuit QuickBooks, and construction software like Hyphen Solutions Brix/Build-Pro.
- Educational Background: BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience (5 years).
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
