Job Description :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Warehouse Manager to oversee all of our warehouse operations.

The Manufacturing Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing warehouse layout, coordinating shipping and receiving, and leading a team of warehouse staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities :

• Create and maintain a production schedule based on order volume.
• Based on the production schedule, order raw materials (such as fabric, pillow filling, etc.) from Vendors and maintain optimal stock levels of shipping and other warehouse supplies.
• Coordinate and maintain Logistics with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate lead times and deliveries.
• Accurately receive ordered goods for production of pillows and manage the proper storage of goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts of raw materials, works in progress and finished goods.
• Implement software for inventory management and create and print barcode labels for scanning.
• Assemble and label products for fulfillment
• Pack and fulfill daily orders with detail-oriented accuracy, ensuring all products in customer orders are shipped.
• Print customer order documents, shipping labels, and shipping carrier SCAN forms & manifests each day.
• Direct manufacturing staff with production materials based on production schedule.
• Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback
• Handle any issues or concerns that arise in the warehouse, addressing them promptly, professionally and effectively until they are resolved.
• Efficiently communicate with other departments on a daily basis.
• Optimize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and streamline workflow
• Utilize 5S Warehouse organization, implementation and the sustaining thereof.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of Two (2) Years proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
• Must have a strong attention to detail including but not limited to : Good written and verbal communication skills, active listening and critical thinking skills.
• Comfortable speaking with Vendors verbally and via email with follow ups until the task at hand is completed
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Self starter with the ability to multitask
• Desire to move up in the company as a Career
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with QuickBooks, Shipping Software, and E-Commerce platforms such as Amazon, etc.
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish & English is preferred
