The Manager, Warehouse oversees the warehouse, maintenance, and sanitation teams to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities personnel and equipment for the storage and distribution of products.This position communicates company policies and makes sure that they are adhered to.The Manager, Warehouse provides exceptional customer service and develops positive working relationships with internal and external partners.The Manager, Warehouse supports Warehouse, Sanitation, and Maintenance personnel, while consistently interfacing with many entities, including; Transportation, Banner Operations, Employees, Labor Relations, and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

·Monitors activities of supervisors to ensure hourly associates meet production and accuracy goals for shipments to stores

·Ensure the most economical and efficient use of equipment to accomplish assigned work within time constraints

·Ensure that production goals are being maintained

·Recommend and implements improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service and lower costs

·Ensure that all safety, security, sanitation and pest control codes, laws and policies are adhered to by all personnel on a daily basis

·Work with Inventory Control Coordinator regarding warehouse space allocations, slotting or merchandise and general inventory control procedures

·Interface with Warehouse management, Transportation personnel, Buyers and Store Directors, maintaining good communications and working relationships with all contacts

·Work directly with retail stores to resolve any operational and shipping issues

·Perform other duties as assigned
