As a floating position you will be assigned to provide coverage at any of the six Savers Bank branch locations including Uxbridge, Auburn, Grafton, Southbridge, Sturbridge and Charlton.
Under the direction of Retail Administration the Asst. Branch Manager (Floating Area Manager) will be responsible for essential functions in the areas of teller, customer service and branch management as needed. The position requires flexibility in all branch job functions and the ability to easily transition between positions and responsibilities.
1 . Performs duties and responsibilities of the Branch Manager in the Branch Manager's absence.
2 . Opens and closes the Branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures.
3 . Maintaining cameras, setting alarms, opening and locking the vault, and ensuring that all cash and checks are appropriately secured.
4 . Handles customer problems and complaints.
5 . Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks and overrides.
6 . Process and close home equity and consumer loan applications.
7 . Provides assistance to branch staff on banking related problems.
8 . Provides guidance to staff for actively cross-selling all banking services to deepen the customer relationship.
9. Provides assistance to head teller and customer service representatives.
10 . Able to perform the duties of a teller or lead teller; processes teller transactions, balances cash, balance branch, ATM, vault or cash recycler.
11 . Handles the sale and set up of complex products and services. Opens all types of consumer and business deposit products. Able to review customer's account history and answer complex questions. Handles all customer transactions with discretion and confidentiality.
12 . Provide on the job training for new Universal Bankers and Assistant/Managers in deposit account opening, loan application processing and routine customer servicing needs. Also provide the job training for new Tellers on all aspects of the transaction processing and procedures. For all positions, provide an overview the various bank policies associated with the positions that they are hired for.
SALES
1. Understand and support company sales and service objectives/promotions.
2. Master the Salesforce CRM for sales and reporting needs.
3. Track and report sales and service performance utilizing the Salesforce CRM.
4. Responsible for product and services knowledge as well as cross sales through referrals of our products and services.
5.Promote additional bank business through in-branch sales, phone sales, and external business development.
Requirements
Associates Degree or higher; retail sales experience a plus; 1-3 yrs. supervisory experience; ability to coach, train and motivate employees; comfortable learning and mastering various bank systems, policies and procedures to perform account opening and customer service maintenance tasks; proven customer service skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented.
