Position Overview:

The Junior Graphic Designer will work closely with our creative team to develop and execute designs for various experiential events. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong design skills and a keen understanding of print production. This is a hybrid remote job, allowing for flexibility in work location. Candidates must be based in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute creative design concepts for posters, wayfinding signs, banners, backdrops, event programs, and branded merchandise.

- Design and oversee large-scale print production, ensuring high-quality output.

- Maintain and manage a print tracker to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all print materials.

- Adobe Creative Suite: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Photoshop and Illustrator.

- Photoshop Wizardry: Utilize advanced Photoshop skills for photo manipulation, retouching, and compositing.

- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all materials.

- Work closely with the creative and event teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.

- Develop compelling visual narratives that enhance the overall event experience.

- Stay updated with design trends and incorporate them into projects to keep our events fresh and engaging.

- Prepare files for print and digital output, ensuring all specifications are met.

- Troubleshoot design and production challenges, providing creative solutions.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in large-scale print production and managing print trackers.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, spacing, balance, and adherence to brand guidelines.

- Comfortable working with multiple teams and self-managing.

- Must be able to self-start without instructions and directions.

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.

- Proficient in Canva and Google Slides.

Compensation: Rates commensurate with experience. Please include your hourly and project-based rates in your application.

Please note: Only candidates based in Los Angeles with experiential event experience will be considered.
