Our AML Advisory team are looking for new colleagues to help ensure the optimal decision making around our high-risk clients, both direct, corporate and institutional. You will be part of a specialist team who are specialised in financial crime risk. Your team will be working toward making the right assessment and mitigate the risks of our high-risk clients in our different segments.
You will be reporting directly to Head of AML Advisory and be based in our Headquarters in Copenhagen. We are located in 14 countries and are collaborating with various partners in 80 different countries so you will be responsible for assessments across all represented countries.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be working with a wide variety of tasks within the financial crime space requiring in-depth understanding of money-laundering-, tax evasion-, sanctions-, adverse media-, and terrorist financing risks.

ResponsibilitiesYou will be working with a wide variety of tasks within the financial crime space requiring in-depth understanding of money-laundering-, tax evasion-, sanctions-, adverse media-, and terrorist financing risks.
- Prepare and make different risk-related assessments.
- Take ownership in the material as AML advisory present/facilitate to management and ensure that it is sufficient and concrete for the management to approve the risk of the book?
- Take part in AML advisory on complex high risk assessments including tax-evasion risk.
- Give input in relation to Saxo’s risk appetite and initiatives for mitigating risk measurements.
- Take part in various projects internally and ensure continuous improvement on existing initiatives and new commercial aspects.
- Give input and seek new knowledge on how we continuously keep up to date with new digital ways of working
- Have a relevant educational background and/or experience with different financial crime typologies, interpretation of AML regulatory requirements, risk management and compliance.
- Have experience with a least two client segments; direct, corporate and/or institutional.
- Preferably have certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS, ICA or similar.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial sector working with making assessments of complex risk cases.
- Are proficient in English both oral and written, Danish is not a requirement.
