Copenhagen, Denmark About The JobOur Financial Crime Surveillance department is looking for our next Trading Surveillance Associate to join our Trading Surveillance team, where we are investigating potential cases of market abuse. ResponsibilitiesOur Trading Surveillance team consists of nine professionals who monitor the trading and order activity of Saxo’s client base, and address any potentially illegal or problematic behavior we detect. As our new Trading Surveillance Associate, you will take part in ensuring that we detect and address any suspicious behavior and incidents. This involves insider trading, market manipulation, wash trades and many other behaviors that violate regulations and exchange rules. In this role you will be reporting to the Head of Trading Surveillance. The position is located at our headquarter in Hellerup. Your profile
You have completed or soon will complete a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Mathematics or related fields
You have an interest and sound understanding of trading, financial markets and the products we offer (not necessarily all of the products)
You have an understanding of trading and financial markets
You are confident in making responsible decisions on your own and ready to take on challenges
Prior experience with market surveillance or knowledge of market rules and regulations is an advantage
