Our client is looking to hire a CHRO who is strategically minded and who possesses a proven track record of driving transformational change. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development, with the ability to influence and inspire teams across diverse locations.

Position Overview:

The new CHRO will be a key strategic partner responsible for shaping the organization's human capital strategy and driving its execution. This role combines a deep understanding of HR principles with a strong business acumen, mergers and acquisitions experience, agility, adaptability, and the ability to influence and foster a positive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Partner:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to align HR strategies with the overall business goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to shape organizational strategy, particularly in areas related to talent, culture, and workforce planning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, coaching them on HR best practices and talent management.

Mergers and Acquisitions:

  • Lead HR due diligence efforts during mergers and acquisitions, assessing cultural fit and talent alignment.
  • Develop integration strategies to ensure a smooth transition of employees and cultures in newly acquired entities.
  • Manage post-merger activities to drive synergy and alignment across the organization.

Agility and Adaptability:

  • Drive a culture of agility and adaptability by fostering continuous learning, innovation, and flexibility within the workforce.
  • Develop HR strategies to respond quickly to changing business environments and market conditions.
  • Implement HR policies and practices that enable the organization to pivot and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.

Cultural Leadership:

  • Champion a strong company culture that aligns with our values, mission, and vision.
  • Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and employee well-being.
  • Lead by example to inspire and influence the workforce at all levels.

Executive Presence:

  • Represent the HR function at the executive level, effectively communicating HR strategies and initiatives to the board of directors and other key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the face of HR, promoting its value and impact throughout the organization.

Travel:

  • Be available to work on-site at least 2-3 days a week.
  • Travel to other company offices within the United States as needed, up to 30% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR executive with a minimum of 15 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration.
  • Exceptional business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business environments and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving cultural change and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing HR team.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
