Housekeeping Supervisor Salary : $17.00 per hour
Housekeeping Supervisor Shifts : 9am - 5 : 30pm shift. Alternating weekends and holidays.

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing seeking experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for a long-term care facility in Syracuse, NY.
Housekeeping Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and laundry services to ensure facility standards.
Staff in compliance with state / federal guidelines and follow facility policies and procedures under the direction of the Housekeeping Director.
Supervision in long-term care or healthcare preferred.
Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities
- Reviews daily staffing to ensure adequate coverage for all areas of responsibility.
- Coaches staff based on inspection findings.
- Directs and supervises that work activities of staff in areas of responsibility; assigns and schedules all special projects as needed.
- P erform other job-related duties as they become required.
Housekeeping Supervisor Qualifications
- Prior experience in Environmental Services preferred; we will provide on-the-job training for entry-level candidates. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
- Ability to lift / carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push / pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, and other personnel and the public.
- Minimum of 2 years of environmental services or housekeeping and laundry experience.
