SCA is seeking a dynamic National APD Network Director with independent auto appraisal management experience to work in our local Burbank, CA office. The qualified candidate will oversee our field network to include the management of Regional Supervisors. Responsible to drive franchisee and vendor performance and capacity in all regions through performance-based reporting, training, mentoring and guidance. Responsible for identifying coverage gaps and capacity constraints throughout all regions and collaborate with Regional Supervisors and Recruiting Division as required to achieve suitable coverage and capacity levels. Duty to work in close conjunction all SCA business units: Client Services, Special Lines Division, Internal Operations, FNOL, Dispatch, Billing and Delivery.

This position reports to the EVP/COO

Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible to drive franchisee and vendor auto physical damage appraisal performance throughout all region through performance-based reporting, training, mentoring and guidance, to include in-person field meetings when appropriate and necessary.

· Responsibility for implementation of field auto physical damage appraisal network operational changes, within the assigned region, with clients and/or policy changes as directed by management.

· Serve as manager to assigned Regional Supervisors; provide leadership, technical guidance, mentoring and training as needed.

· Identify and assist as needed to fill in for business unit employees during times of high volume, vacations, short staffing, etc.

· Conduct projects and participate in business unit activities to identify problems and improve workflow process and systems.

· Budget management.

· Travel will be required for field network meetings, management meetings, client meetings, industry events or catastrophe events.

· Additional tasks and/or projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience with a minimum of 5 years Independent Appraisal Management or equivalent experience is preferred

· Five to seven years of actual field auto appraisal experience required.

· Must carry material damage related certifications. I-CAR Pro-level and ASE B6 certification a plus but not mandatory

· Must be proficient with Audatex, CCC or Mitchell estimating systems

· Must have prior experience with creation and management of audit rule sets

· Must display strong customer service and organizational skills

· Must possess strong negotiation, investigative and resolution skills

· Must be a strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required

· Must be proficient PC, Microsoft products and Windows skills

The range for this position is $90,000 to $104,000. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is also eligible for our benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation, Sick, 401k, etc.).
