Treasure Valley Hospital is a state-of-the surgical hospital physician owned and managed by SCA Health. We have 16 operating rooms and provide surgical care to patients with Anesthesiology, ENT, General, GYN, Neuro, Ortho, Urology, Cardiac, Radiology needs. Treasure Valley Hospital is a 28-bed, Joint Commission accredited surgical facility located in Boise, Idaho, which is consistently recognized for patient satisfaction. Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

This position handles administrative functions for the Senior Leadership of the hospital. This includes a wide variety of complex, confidential, and time sensitive duties including proficiency in PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Word. This may include routine and advanced correspondence such as letters, spreadsheets, reports and presentations. They are familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

JOB KNOWLEDGE

*a. Acts as intermediary for Senior Leadership, greets and directs personnel and visitors.

*b. Performs secretarial functions in the Administrative Office, involving a variety of routine and complex secretarial and clerical tasks, such as typing, filing, making, receiving and directing phone calls, preparing and maintaining statistical reports and records.

Adheres to and supports the established policies of the facility.

Attends continuing education programs specific to area of practice.

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Computer skills, excellent grammar, medical technology.
  • Public contact experience.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Experience with Minute taking, Agenda Items, distribution of minutes. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
