Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

1. Assumes a leadership role in the provision of care for patients receiving services within the unit

2. Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position

3. Supervises the smooth function of the unit including oversight of daily staffing

4. Monitor that necessary personnel, equipment, and supplies are available

5. Communicates shift/unit issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner

6. Facilitates daily huddles within the unit

7. Demonstrates the importance of continuing education to the performance of facility

8. Maintains work area and equipment in a pristine manner

9. Demonstrates the safe operation of equipment and machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation

10. Strives to be profession, courteous, helpful, and cooperative


Qualifications:

License or Certification

Current Cardiovascular Credentialing

Skills Required:

Advanced computer skills including knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint; strong proven communication skills with upper leadership, business office, and clinical staff; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with strong prioritizing skill; demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills; strong statistical skills and interpretive abilities; strong written and verbal skills; able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
