You will report to the Vice President/Director and lead a small CPA firm. This role involves taking over an established business and further growing it with corporate support for business development, client contacts, and administration. You will report to the Vice President/Director and lead a small CPA firm. This role involves taking over an established business and further growing it with corporate support for business development, client contacts, and administration. Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead operations of a CPA business with a focus on individual tax, business tax, and accounting for small businesses.
- Take over an established business and grow it with existing and new clients, ensuring steady and timely support.
- Contribute to the larger vision of the organization to expand the US market in this space.
- Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with clients, demonstrating a client-centric approach at all times.
- Service Orientation: Awareness of both internal and external customers and their needs, committed to meeting evolving, long-term needs.
- Result Orientation: Direct efforts towards developing and implementing realistic action plans to meet business objectives with a sense of urgency.
- Initiative: Proactively identify challenges and work towards their resolution.
- Professionalism: In-depth knowledge of all functions, displaying required skill sets, ethics, and integrity.
- Cooperation: Ensure task completion while supporting team members and displaying joint ownership towards achieving business objectives.
- Communication/Feedback: Provide and receive feedback to enhance performance and meet business objectives.
- Certified CPA with 10 years of experience in the tax and accounting space in or around Chicago.
- Prior experience in client support and smooth operations for existing clients.
- Experience in business development and growing existing business is desired and advantageous.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Confident, dynamic, well-spoken individual with a penchant for running operations and maintaining client relationships.
- Team management experience with 2-4 team members.
