**The Opportunity**

Supports the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Ensures the proper function of the company's information processing systems and upgrades as necessary. Helps business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency. Keeps computer software updated to meet organizational needs.

**You Will**

* Assist with management of consulting resources for large-scale project-based work guiding onshore and offshore teams. Monitor work to ensure outcomes meet scope and are within budget and on time. Work with Project Delivery Lead to drive change, as needed.

* Provide day to day support of the IT development team and serve as a backup resource to the IT Development Project Delivery Lead.

* Assist with creation of and implement the technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration of development projects from definition phase through implementation.

* Apply knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our customers.

* Peer review work of development team to ensure compliance with development standards for coding, testing and documentation.

* Assist with identifying system deficiencies and implementing effective solutions.

* Create and execute development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

* Keep project manager well informed of status of development effort and serve as a liaison between development staff and project manager.

* Ensure technical teams are contributing to our code library.

* Contribute to overall management planning of IT department.

* Actively participate in the development lifecycle and responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project.

* Understand complex database concepts to effectively guide and employ different database design techniques.

* Facilitate team and customer meetings effectively.

* Represent IT as liaison to business related meetings, communicating status of projects.

* Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.

* Remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices.

* Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

**Your Qualifications**

* Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience required.

* 7 yeas of Information Technology experience required.

* 2 years IT Lead experience.

* Software development lead experience in a mid or large enterprise IT environment.

* Experience working with contracting parties or business partners preferred.

* Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff, within and external to the organization to achieve goals.

* Demonstrated experience with project planning and timeframe/resource estimating.

* Strong experience in Microsoft technologies including TFS, TSQL, SSIS, .NET/C#, Dynamics365.

* Possesses demonstrated work experience with more than one relational database management system.

* Understands OO concepts and consistently applies them in customer engagements.

* Understands the benefits of the various programming languages and software development lifecycles including waterfall and agile.

* Possesses significant knowledge of client/server and cloud system architectures.
