The JobThe Director of Business Development (aka Director of Business Development & Partnership/Growth) will spearhead strategic growth initiatives within Embrace, focusing on expanding our reach and influence in the senior living sector. By leveraging deep industry knowledge, innovative sales strategies, and strong partnerships, this role aims to significantly boost membership and establish Embrace as a leader in integrated senior healthcare solutions. You Will
Sales Strategy & Team Leadership
Refine and evolve Embrace's sales approach to explore new channels and accelerate membership growth.
Develop risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks in value-based contracts, including risk-sharing arrangements and quality improvement initiatives.
Expand SCAN’s network by engaging with external senior leaders to cultivate long-term corporate partnerships in the senior living space.
Market & Risk Analysis
Continuously analyze competitors and market trends to guide leadership and inform strategic expansion.
Employ advanced data analytics to assess contract performance, identify trends, and drive decision-making.
Proactively monitor and optimize the performance of value-based contracts based on established metrics.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
Negotiate and cultivate partnerships with community operators, healthcare payors, providers, and tech vendors to facilitate market entry and growth.
Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and adapt strategies in response to evolving regulatory, market, and healthcare trends.
Maintain rigorous adherence to CMS guidelines and ensure the sales team follows compliant sales practices.
Sales & Process Improvement
Manage CRM systems to enhance sales productivity and streamline processes.
Develop collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to support effective contract execution.
Mentor and train the sales team, ensuring alignment with business growth and strategy.
Innovation and Product Alignment
Collaborate closely with the product team to align sales strategies with product offerings and drive innovation in response to market demands.
Organize and lead educational meetings with senior living community leaders, addressing their objectives and introducing SCAN’s teams.
Thought Leadership
Establish Embrace as a thought leader by engaging in industry events and contributing to publications.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Embrace's products and value-based contracts, providing guidance to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Strategy & Execution
Work proactively with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and consistent brand messaging.
Customer Retention & Account Management
Develop retention strategies based on customer feedback and analytics.
Prioritize patient-centered care delivery to enhance health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals. Other duties as assigned. Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, required.
A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed above.
Successful sales and business development experience is required.
In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and value-based care models, preferred.
10 or more years of sales experience in the senior living, long term care setting, preferred.
Ability to build and sustain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and drive consensus.
Leadership - Lead and inspire teams to achieve performance goals, offering guidance and support.
Problem Solving - Good problem solving skills.
Travel 50 % of the time in the assigned area- Must have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and reliable transportation.

Base Salary Range: $177,500.00 to $284,000.00 annually
