Project Manager

The Project Manager will work closely with our superintendents, design and estimating teams to execute projects from pre-construction to the final punch list. The Project Manager is responsible for fulfilling construction agreements on time, while always prioritizing clients.
The right candidate must be fluent in residential and light-commercial construction methodologies, while demonstrating a track record of strong business ethics. Scariano Construction is a Missoula, Montana based general contractor that specializes in custom residential and commercial construction. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, and 14 Missoula Historic Preservation Awards – our commitment to quality, craft and collaboration is the standard in Western Montana.
Responsibilities
● Align project deliverables for timely execution across multiple projects at once
● Assist with refining the project scope while shepherding client communication
● Execute pre-construction deliverables; including ordering time sensitive materials
● Manage change orders within active projects
● Compile and distribute weekly status reports for clients
● Manage required RFIs and ASIs to maintain alignment across all facets of the project
● Manage weekly and long-term project schedules in collaboration with internal stakeholders
● Track costs to ensure projects are on budget and on time
● Model workplace safety; ensuring a safe work environment for staff and subcontractors
● Maintain ongoing education of industry trends, techniques and regulations
● Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, architects and designers
● Analyze completed projects to identify future areas of improvement
Required Skills
● In-depth knowledge of trade standards, building code, industry terminology and plan sets
● Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
● Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
● Ability to work and problem-solve independently
● Proven ability to meet deadlines
● Effective communicator, including the ability to present complex information in an organized, understandable way
Preferred Qualifications
● Degree or certificate in construction management, project management or related field
● Three (3) years in residential, commercial construction or related industry
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
