We are growing!This position is for a Assistant Spa Manager and will require a 6-month commitment to our training program in which manager will be learning all operations of the spa including front desk, guest services, day to day managerial duties. After successful completion, candidate will be reviewed for a permanent roll as a Assistant Spa Manager.
Responsibilities Include
  • Reports actively to Spa Manager, Spa Director and Owner
  • Learning all front desk duties including but not limited to, checking guests in/out, scheduling appointments, selling memberships, recommending services, follow up with staff members to be sure daily chores were completed. May be assigned to fill in at call center, front desk, or spa attendant position, as needed.
  • Upholds a pleasant and supportive working environment for all SOS staff by leading by example
  • Strong knowledge of spa services and products-Provides feedback and coaching in a respectful manner to help all staff grow within their positions
  • Supports staff by helping in any areas that may need assistance
  • Perform room audits
  • Assist in spa planning and executing parties and group reservations
  • Attend to guest concerns or complaints
  • Ensures that appointments are scheduled in the most effective manner
  • Participates in marketing opportunities
  • Creates inventive ideas to promote sales growth, and strives to exceed projected sales goals
  • Create healthy work relationship with all staff members, while maintaining managerial boundaries
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment in treatment rooms and scheduling software
  • Assist Spa Manager with inventory maintenance and reports when there is a shortage or outage of supplies that may need to be ordered
  • Addresses any client complaints promptly and politely
  • Ability to make executive decisions that benefit all parties included in the absence of the Owner or Spa Manager
  • Provide the highest level 5-star spa servic
Desired Qualities
  • Strongly Preferred *Minimum 2-3 years management experience in a spa setting
  • Required *Minimum 1-2 years in luxury hospitality setting
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and oral
  • Impeccable phone etiquette
  • Computer savvy
  • Experience with Boulevard software considered a plus
  • Enthusiastic, go-getter attitude
  • Positive self-esteem and professional image
  • Strong team player, but also has the ability to work independently with little supervision

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to improvise and problem solve
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to be on feet for hours at a time and can lift 30 pounds.
