SCG Development (Tysons, VA)

Job Description

SCG Development (“SCGDP”) is seeking candidates for a Financial Analyst position who will provide support to the asset management and accounting function. The Financial Analyst is responsible for accounting and asset management duties supporting a portfolio of multi-family real estate assets comprised largely of rental apartment properties acquired through the Section 42 LIHTC affordable housing tax credit program. The position will be based in SCGDP's headquarters in Tysons, VA, approximately 14 miles west of Washington, DC. We are seeking a motivated individual who possesses strong accounting, quantitative and analytical skills that will excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, team-based environment.

Qualifications and Skills

· BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Data Science or related quantitative field.

· 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting, financial analyst or real estate experience required.

· Essential skills include thorough knowledge of accounting, budgeting and quantitative analytical practices.

· Preferred knowledge in affordable housing, partnership taxation or real estate investment/financial analysis. Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail are essential.

· Proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
