ENVIRONMENTAL ASSOCIATE (Attorney)

We are looking for an Environmental Law Associate with a passion for environmental advocacy and a proven track record in environmental law. With 3 to 7 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a robust background in environmental compliance and litigation at federal, state, and local levels.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide compliance counseling to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.

· Develop strategies for site remediation cost recovery and manage related litigation.

· Conduct transactional due diligence to assess environmental liabilities.

· Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements with environmental considerations.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Demonstrated experience representing clients before key regulatory bodies such as the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, EPA, NY Department of Environmental Conservation, and NY Department of Health.

· Active membership in good standing with both the New Jersey and New York Bar Associations.
