The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, recommending maintenance and repair work, keep customers updated while their vehicle is in for service, and perform an active delivery with their customer when they are checking out with our cashier. Service Advisors are also required to communicate with technicians regarding repair work, estimates, and labor times, and accurately document the customers concerns on the repair orders to ensure that the customers concerns are addressed and repaired the first time.

Pay: $70,221.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately assess their vehicle's needs
• Provide recommendations and estimates for necessary repairs or services
• Schedule appointments and manage the service schedule
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicle and any additional repairs needed
• Deliver your customers or your teammates customers cars to them at time of pick up or checkout by reviewing the repair order, their multi-point inspection, and any recommended services or repairs the customer has declined.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the automotive industry, particularly in auto repair, tire service, oil changes, diesel engine repair, brake repair, or other related areas
• Merrillville, IN 46410: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Reynolds and Reynolds Ignite experience 
• Computer and typing skills
