Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at Schervier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The Registered Nurse will also monitor patient progress, provide emotional support, and educate patients and their families on healthcare management.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of New York
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Experience in administering medications and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
- Experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting is a plus
