HIRING: PARALEGAL
Position: Paralegal
Hours: M-F (8:30am – 5:00pm)
Benefits: Medical, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick, Vacation, Paid Parking
Salary: From $50,000; Salary to be commensurate with experience.
Education: Bachelor’s (Preferred)
Location: In Person
Experience: Ideal candidates would have at least 5 years experience in litigation firms working on complex legal matters. Office management experience also preferred.
This person will be responsible for providing office and litigation support for attorneys engaged primarily in personal injury cases representing Plaintiffs. No billable hours required. Duties include:
- Managing regular telephone and email correspondence with clients;
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence with firm vendors;
- Organization of incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintaining of client files;
- Manage filings in state and federal court;
- Drafting legal documents for filing in state and federal court;
- Legal and other research as needed;
- Coordination and follow-up of ongoing projects, including record collection; and,
- Coordination with attorneys and other firm staff regarding deadlines and project completion, including maintaining of a firm calendar.
Candidates must have the ability to work independently to provide supervision and support on legal and internal firm matters. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Ideal candidates will be highly-organized and punctual, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Driven, attentive, and motivated individuals will thrive in this position.
