Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the ECAD Platform team to support deployment, evolution, and issue resolutions of ECAD Digital Engineering Applications such as Cadence, Sigrity, Altar Pollex, etc. Be familiar with the E2E ECAD design flow including core tools and customization.
- Work closely with Product Owners, R&D teams, and Business representatives to identify, document, and manage business requirements and use cases. Challenge and translate R&D business requirements into structured technical requirements (functional view).
- Contribute to the ECAD Platform Roadmap in close collaboration with the ECAD Product Owner.
- Understand E2E business processes, document and maintain specifications and process flows for application development, and identify potential gaps between the business process and the solutions. Influence technical direction.
- Assist R&D teams in the design and development of system level solutions.
- Provide coaching to business users in the functional use of the solutions and offer business support.
- Oversee verification and validation of solutions, Electronics systems and sub-systems, and drive user acceptance test.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor products.
- Facilitate and lead ECAD Application Proof of Concepts with R&D teams.
- Provide training and support to users on new developments and products.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in electronic design and application development.
- Utilize knowledge of electronics HW design and simulation systems or products to support R&D project teams. Collaborate with cross-functional peers for the development of new offers or evolution of existing offers.
- Proficiency in Power Electronics, including design, component selection, and testing.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes of PCB/PCBA, Integrated Circuits, etc.
- Proficiency in simulation software such as Matlab, Simulink, PSpice, etc.
- Advanced understanding of EMC testing and design mitigation techniques.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the Agile product management process and experience with Cybersecurity is preferred.
