Schneider Electric is Hiring a Quality Supervisor Near Oxford, OH
Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Quality Supervisor at our Oxford, OH facility. This position is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet the Customer specifications and Schneider Electric quality requirements.
What will you do?
• Supervise team of Quality Technicians to perform functional testing and quality reviews of all gear that is manufactured in the facility
• Support quality improvement efforts to drive superior customer experience
• Track, share, and review all quality performance KPI’s for plant
• Drive compliance with existing Quality Management System
• Lead and drive resolution to reactive quality issues within their process area(s)
• Trigger/manage production stops and ship holds
• Develop and/or update PFMEA, FTA and Process Control Plans
• Perform process root cause analysis, use 8D methodology for problem solving, and implement corrective action with emphasis in implementation of Poka Yoke and Jidoka
• Lead and/or support Kaizen events and Continuous Improvement activities
• Function as quality approval on implementation of process changes
• Analyze and drive improvement for First Pass Yield and customer complaints
What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2 years of Quality experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
• Experience supervising skilled workforce
• Experience effectively communicating and problem solving as a leader
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing/six sigma concepts
• Flexible to respond to shifting priorities and ability to effectively prioritize daily tasks
• Self-motivated and self-directed with high sense of urgency
• Proven ability to achieve results
