Job DescriptionJob Overview:We are on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Principal Project Leader to spearhead our projects at Schneider Electric. The ideal candidate will seamlessly collaborate with product managers, software engineers, customer-facing engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive project success from inception to completion. If you have a deep understanding of product design and the new product introduction process, coupled with unparalleled project management skills, this role might be your next challenge.
ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment, timely deliverables, and high-quality outputs.
Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with product managers, software engineers, customer-facing engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
SAFe and Agile/Lean Methodologies: Champion SAFe, Agile, or Lean methodologies, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee and guide projects through all stages of the product lifecycle, from conception to post-release maintenance.
Project Tracking and Planning: Utilize advanced project tracking tools and planning methodologies to ensure projects stay on schedule, mitigating risks and addressing challenges proactively.
Design and Introduction Process: Engage deeply with all facets of the Product Design and New Product Introduction process, including design engineering, verification and validation, compliance, quality engineering, manufacturing logistics, and marketing.
Stakeholder Communication: Understand the overarching project picture and effectively communicate progress, challenges, and strategies to all project stakeholders.
Meeting Facilitation: Schedule, track, and drive meetings, fostering consensus among team members and stakeholders.
QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in project management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
5 years of experience in project leadership, preferably within the industrial or tech sectors.
Prior Experience With Software Development Is Highly Preferred.Certified in SAFe, Agile, Lean, or similar methodologies.
Proven track record of successfully planningand managing complex projects through the entire lifecycle.
Superior organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Exceptional problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in any of the below is a strong plus:
Additional certifications related to project management.
Experience in the industrial automation industry
Familiarity with Schneider Electric products and solutions.
