Description

The VP of Sales – Americas, will be responsible for:

  • Overall sales objectives and achievement of these objectives both short & long term
  • Establishing sales strategies for growth 
  • Developing detailed plan and execution, delivering consistent growth in sales revenue and profitability
  • Providing customer support for the company’s products and services throughout USA

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION: BA/BS in a business or a related technical field of study from an accredited college or university is required. (Master’s Degree preferred)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

· Ten (10) years of experience within sales & marketing, demonstrated achievement in sales revenue growth with progressively advancing career path

· Sales and marketing experience in returnable plastics packaging products and /or servicing the retail industry is highly preferred

· Managing sales process in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business as well as servicing and growing an existing customer base 

POSITION LOCATION: Goodyear, AZ, Hybrid, or Remote 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop sales and marketing strategies to improve market share
  2.  Establish sales objectives, annual sales and profitability plan
  3.  Identify markets / sectors while establishing synergy between products and customers’ needs
  4.  Identify key new customers, develop specific plans, and initiate business relationships 
  5.  Execute strategy to meet sales objectives and profitability plan
  6.  Utilize products, plans, and market strategies that are founded on good business principles and a sound business case. Build sound business cases for new markets/customers/products
  7.  Maintain account plans and provide customer support for continued business growth
  8.  Manage sales and customer service department
  9.  Accurately report sales revenues, sales activities versus plan and provide quarterly forecast
  10.  Track progress through CRM reporting; analyze and communicate successes/misses; share root cause and market changes in strategy, products or services to increase success rate
  11.  Keep up to date with markets, competitor activities and products. Conduct market research
  12.  Establish sales policies, practices and procedures
  13. Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team at all levels of the organization 

· Staff management and coaching

· Bi-lingual English/Spanish is beneficial

· Fluent in Microsoft Office 

Physical Requirements

May occasionally require lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.

Work Environment

Frequent travel domestically and occasionally internationally
