THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Part-Time Social Media Assistant to join ScholarTrip. This role is perfect for college students or individuals pursuing a career in social media and digital marketing. As our Social Media Assistant, you'll help craft our social media voice, build engaging online communities, and keep our brand at the forefront of exciting travel trends. Your insights into the student demographic and flair for creating relatable content will be crucial in amplifying our presence across various social platforms.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Utilize strong video editing and graphic design skills to create engaging short-form content and captivating weekly social posts for holidays, events, and sales.
• Actively gather user-generated content by requesting repost permissions and maintaining a library of UGC and copyright-free content.
• Coordinate paid promotional campaigns and manage influencer partnerships, conducting research and communications under the guidance of the Social Media Coordinator.
• Analyze social media metrics and gather research on current trends, providing weekly and quarterly reports to inform strategy updates.
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce marketing materials such as blogs and newsletters, assist in coordinating marketing campaigns with partners, and enhance the website’s marketing content and user experience.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience or strong interest in social media management, especially in the travel or education sectors.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and basic understanding of social media management tools.
• Strong communication skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to balance school/work life effectively.
