Other Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluating students’ academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, and preparing progress reports
  • Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress
  • Identifying student needs and cooperating with the other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems
  • Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEP’s and 504 Plans with fidelity
  • Substitute/duty coverage as needed
  • Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day
  • Occasionally represent the campus at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Eligible to work in Arkansas Public Schools. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject. Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through the state department and Department of Public Safety.

Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an educator. Master’s degree in Education or related subject(s).

Additional Job Information:

Benefits and Salary: Starting Teacher Salary is $50,000 and is negotiable dependent on education and experience.
