Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Spanish Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Spanish language and culture, with the ability to engage and inspire students in their language learning journey.
Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the academic needs of students
- Instruct students on Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of evaluation
- Provide feedback to students to support their language development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Spanish language program
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Eligible to work in Arkansas Public Schools
- Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish
- Experience in tutoring or teaching Spanish language and culture
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively
- Ability to mentor and support students with diverse learning needs
-Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through the state department and Department of Public Safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an educator.
- Master’s degree in Education or related subject(s).
