Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to students with complex medical needs in a classroom setting.
Administer medications, including feeding tube management and suctioning (for the male student) according to established guidelines and physician orders
Monitor students' health status and respond to medical emergencies according to established protocols
Collaborate with teachers and other related service providers to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of MA
Experience working with children with special needs, including seizure disorders and G-tube feeding
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
Timings:
Monday Through Thursday
8:45 AM to 1:15 PM
