SCHOTT MINIFAB includes a wide range of custom capabilities to manufacture multiple unique formats of Point-of-Care devices, as well as standard processes for the production of arrays on glass slides and plates conducted in meticulously maintained cleanroom environments. Each process has standard QC methods, and particular sampling plans or additional QC methods that are implemented as required by customers.
Skills required:
Experience working in a regulated clean room environment (medical device or other), working with chemical agents - mixing, measuring and documentation. Trouble shooting, self-motivated, good written and oral communication skills (Note: Good understanding of statistical process control preferred but not required). Ability to focus on and monitor multiple tasks and automated instruments as well as manual processes. Requires careful and conscientious efforts with ability to follow very detailed instructions in an exact fashion.
Responsibilities:

This entails monitoring manufacturing status, identifying trends, adjusting equipment settings via command software or manual intervention, and ensuring we meet our production deadlines efficiently.
The remaining 30% of the time will be dedicated to manual tasks such as chemical mixing (low hazard risk), labeling, inline QC checks, packaging, and documentation. Additionally, involvement in continuous improvement initiatives, assisting engineers in investigations, keeping the workplace as per 6S standards, and participating in experimental projects is expected.
