Description

With creativity, flexibility, and energy, the Business Unit Coordinator will facilitate success every day by providing high-quality, proactive solutions as an integral part of the team to achieve exceptional business results.

In this dynamic role, you will support the R&D and Distributor Sales teams accomplish their objectives and projects by providing proactive support.

It demands a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and a general intuitive ability in computer software. You will also be involved in purchasing and large-event planning tasks.

This position will be based out of our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

What you’ll do :

Be a role model of our culture to all partners. Anticipate the needs of internal customers with a natural willingness to go above and beyond expectations.

Observe and understand the dynamics of the Business Groups and identify opportunities for improvement. Champion and contribute to the success of key priorities and initiatives.

  • Be extremely proficient using Microsoft Office applications, including Teams.
  • Manage schedules, system access, partner (employee) recognition, new-hire onboarding, some domestic and international travel planning, uniform ordering.

Monitor key performance metrics.

  • Responsible for managing the purchasing of ingredients and finished products for sensory, applications testing and the Pilot Plant, including the ongoing management of an external delivery service account (Shipt).
  • Oversee, manage, and assign the flow of internal project requestsfor R&D using Optiva software.
  • Create purchase orders and invoices to vendors for the purchase of equipment and parts needed for pilot, sensory, and other R&D needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and information source to assess the importance and determine the best course of action.

Serve as the intermediary with traveling partners to deliver exceptional support. Help with ordering office supplies and handling the packaging, shipping, and mailing of materials for the department or team as needed.

Be the go-to resource for your business unit or workgroup on subject matter.

  • Organize and coordinate internal meetings to ensure successful outcomes. This includes logistics, meal planning, invitations, RSVP tracking, agenda setting, budget analysis, and on-site management throughout the meeting.
  • As the internal administrative point person for Distributor Sales' external food shows, you will be responsible for managing the planning process for food shows of varying sizes and complexities.

You will act as the primary contact for the venue and take ownership of the planning process to ensure a successful event.

Organize and coordinate internal meetings to ensure successful outcomes. This includes logistics, meal planning, invitations, RSVP tracking, agenda setting, budget analysis, and on-site management throughout the meeting.

  • High School - GED; Associates degree is preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in Business or Administrative Support
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to manage and coordinate several assignments concurrently.
  • Some travel required
