Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborates with other members of the production team to respond to requests and update documentation quickly and accurately
- Maintains base files of house plans and uploads to digital storage system
- Ensures all documentation of home plans are updated, filed, and stored correctly
- Interacts with cities and municipalities to retrieve building permits and oversees the permitting process
- Updates existing plan sets based on customer and sales team selections
- Participates in preconstruction meetings and audit reviews
- Reviews and approves truss designs based on existing plan sets
- Supports production team by updating house plans to current versions
- Assists operations and design activities as needed
- Supports build and sales teams in the field as needed
- Experience working with Revit and CAD preferred
- Proficient in the use of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn and utilize new software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- After hours and weekends required on occasion
- Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with low noise levels
- Prolonged periods of sitting required
- Rarely required to walk, stand, lift, climb, pull, or push objects weighing up to 10 pounds
