• Monitors buildings and grounds to ensure a neat and clean appearance and environment

• Assists in the preventative maintenance program for the building and its fixtures on a daily, weekly, monthly and as needed basis

• Paints

• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC

• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs

• Provides courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints

• Provides assistance to other departments of the hotel to contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Basic math skills

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members

• Excellent time management skills
