JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitors buildings and grounds to ensure a neat and clean appearance and environment
Assists in the preventative maintenance program for the building and its fixtures on a daily, weekly, monthly and as needed basis
Paints
Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC
Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
Provides courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints
Provides assistance to other departments of the hotel to contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Basic math skills
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
Excellent time management skills
