Pay Rate: $28 - $35 /hour, based on education and experience

Additional Compensation Available: Safety and Attendance Bonus, discretionary $90/month gas bonus, discretionary end-of-year bonus, steel-toe reimbursement, tool reimbursement, free uniforms

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician (industrial) maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and/or rebuilds all processing equipment in department as necessary.

This position is part of the opening of our new state-of-the-art facility at Midlink in Kalamazoo, MI, which became operational in the spring of 2024. This role will play a crucial role in assisting to ensure a smooth operational setup and contribute to the success of our future growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment in department which includes but is not limited to: balers, shredders and conveyors.
• Repair and maintain equipment as it relates to electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.
• Ensure scheduled and preventative maintenance is performed in accordance with OSHA and manufacturers recommendations/specifications.
• Routinely lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain knowledge of CMMS and/or maintenance repair software.
• Comply with all company safety regulations and policies.
• Must be able to interact in-person with peers and the public.
• Must be able to handle high-stress situations.
• Ability to work regular overtime as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
