Schuyler Line Navigation Company, LLC (SLNC) is currently seeking a Jr. Crewing Coordinator (HR / Travel) to join our dynamic team.

SLNC is a leader in operating commercial U.S. flag vessels excelling in turn-key solutions in austere areas.

The Jr. Crewing Coordinator's duties, under direction of the Crewing Coordinators, include assisting with the identification and vetting of qualified mariners to fill positions aboard vessels, maintenance of personnel files, and arrangement of mariner travel to / from the vessels, both domestically and internationally.

Expectations and responsibilities include but not limited to :

General :

• Attend weekly / monthly All Company and Crewing Department meetings.
• Assist the Crewing Department to meet overall company objectives

Crew Documentation Management :

• Maintain and update crew data in NSE- Responsible for maintaining / uploading documents for company crewmembers within NSE
• Maintain and update crew ADP profiles- Responsible for creating / maintaining ADP Pay Profiles for company crewmembers.

Rotation Schedules :

Monitor crew rotation schedules with Crewing Coordinators to support preparations for upcoming crew rotations.

Recruitment :

• Work within company recruitment process to identify potential crew member candidates.
• Vet documents & training certs of candidates.

Travel Coordination :

• Coordinate with vessel / Crewing Coordinator for crew travel when and where. Ensure that crew change are completed in the most cost- efficient manner.
• Book travel with Company approved travel service.
• Coordinate with Master and local agents for transportation and lodging.
