Job Description
Prototype system design and development for the DoD.
PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages a multi-discipline team consisting of system engineers, network engineers, logisticians, electronics technicians, software developers, software integrators, cyber security engineers and technical writers
• Mentors and coaches team members to enhance performance, promote professional growth, build esprit de corps, and meet customer and contract objectives and requirements
• Provides functional and technical guidance to the engineering staff and quickly resolve issues that may have an adverse impact on performance, schedule, or cost
• Navigates the inherents complexities of prototype development and expectation management of geographically disparate stakeholders will be required

Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 years of direct work experience supporting one or more of the following (experience may be concurrent) :
  
  • Design, integration, testing, and installation of Electronic Security Systems
  • Development and/or administration of Cloud Computing environments
  • Design integration, testing, and installation of network infrastructure
  • Hardware/software integration and/or administration of computing systems (servers and clients)
• At least 2 of these years must include direct project management experience with:
  
  • Managing project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Management of employees with diverse skillsets such as engineers, software developers, logistics, technical writing, drafting, electronics installation, network/computer integration/administration, and cyber security
  • Performing quality assurance/quality control and delivery of contract deliverables
  • Risk Management
• Project Management Professional certification

DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Project Management experience in support of DoD projects, programs, or initiatives
